Thanaya
Art Dose’s first exhibition: more than 40 artists exploring pairs in nature and the dialogue between imagination and reality.
Thanaya marked Art Dose’s first steps: a group exhibition bringing together more than 40 artists united by a love of art and a passion for creativity. It opened on Saturday, 19 March 2022, and welcomed visitors over three consecutive days.
The exhibition drew inspiration from pairs in the natural world: sun and moon, night and day, desert and sea. The participating works entered into dialogue in pairs connected by a shared idea, inviting visitors to reflect between imagination and reality.
Thanaya was the result of more than a month of collaboration and preparation, and an expression of a young generation’s vision of contemporary art. Art Dose’s founder and leader, artist and engineer Omar Al Marzouqi, inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of artists and businesspeople from Jeddah. More than 600 visitors attended on the first day.
